My Dreame V11 cordless vacuum cleaner, which I’ve been using with great satisfaction for nearly two years, recently started having charging issues.
Initially, I was concerned that the vacuum itself was the problem. But after some troubleshooting, I concluded that the charger was faulty. So, I began looking for a replacement.
In South Korean online stores, the price was around ₩20,000 to ₩30,000. On AliExpress, it was about ₩10,000 cheaper. I decided to buy one from AliExpress.
I purchased an AliExpress “Choice” product for around ₩9,100.

True to its “Choice” designation, it was delivered in just five days. It came simply packaged in a plastic bag with just the box inside.

The box contained the Dreame V11 charger, and I was a bit worried the plug might get bent during shipping.

I compared the new compatible charger with my original Dreame V11 charger. As expected for a product sold domestically, my original charger has the Korean KC mark, while the new one doesn’t.

I also carefully checked the specifications to see if they were different, but they were identical: 30.0V 0.8A. I was surprised to see that the manufacturer was also the same: Dongguan Yimli Electronics Co., LTD. It’s labeled as a “compatible” charger, but it seems to be an authentic, genuine product.

The cause of my Dreame V11’s charging problem was a broken wire inside the plug. It wasn’t completely severed—it seemed like just one wire was disconnected, which is why it would sometimes charge depending on the angle I plugged it in.

Lastly, I had to find a travel adapter for the plug. The charger I bought from AliExpress has an EU-type plug, not a KR-type. While it can be used without an adapter, I used one for safety.
Even though it requires a separate adapter, the charger I bought from AliExpress works perfectly. The low price and quick delivery made it an excellent choice.
