Sendero Carmenère Wine Review – 4,900 Won

This is Sendero Carmenère wine that I purchased for 4,900 won while visiting Emart Everyday. I thought the Sendero wine discount price was slightly under 10,000 won… but they were selling it for 4,900 won.

It was placed in a spot that didn’t stand out well even in the Emart Everyday wine corner, so I almost passed by it. It was located in a place where you have to squat to see it, and there wasn’t even a tag attached saying it was on sale…

Sendero Carmenère Wine

The label design of the Sendero Carmenère wine is as above. It is a Chilean wine. It says “Concha y Toro” at the bottom, so I guess that’s why they call it Concha y Toro Sendero Carmenère wine.

The cap is a type that can be easily opened and closed. These days, for wines to drink lightly, I like this screw type better.

Sendero Carmenère Wine

The purchased Sendero Carmenère wine is a 2020 vintage and the alcohol content is 12.5%. Personally, it is my favorite alcohol content. It is the perfect alcohol content for finishing a bottle while sipping.

Sendero Carmenère Wine Review

The thought that comes to mind as soon as I drink it is that this is exactly the wine they used to give on airplanes. The body and tannins are not strong, and it seems perfect for drinking lightly. The pepper scent seems slightly strong, but it is not very bothersome. Just because the body or tannins are weak, it does not feel watery at all.

After drinking about half a bottle and closing it well, I drank it the next day, and it is fine.

I think 4,900 won is a really excellent price. At this price, I should purchase a few more bottles.
